I am in Zurich from January 18 to 20 to study unpublished palaeo-Hebrew inscriptions.

These inscriptions were copied on ostraca, that is, pottery shards recycled into writing medium.

They are more than 2500 years old, from the Kingdom of Judah. André Lemaire and I were asked to decipher them.

During these few days, I will test a new multi-spectral imaging protocol to increase the readability of partially erased letters.

Have a good week! 😉
