American Schools of Oriental Research

Beginning 2014, I will serve as chairman for the Ancient Inscriptions sessions at the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR) annual meetings.

I am honored to succeed to Christopher Rollston, while Heather Parker succeeds to Annalisa Azzoni.

“Ancient Inscriptions” is an ASOR-sponsored session. As stated on the ASOR website,

The focus of this session is epigraphic material from Syria Palestine, Mesopotamia, Egypt, and Anatolia. Paper proposals that consist of new readings (of previously published inscriptions) or constitute preliminary presentations of new epigraphic discoveries are of special interest.

The call for papers for the 2014 annual meeting ends February 15, so go ahead and submit your proposal now! 😉

UPDATE: My term has been renewed for another three years (2017-2019)! 🙂

  2. Mais dis-donc, çà n’arrête pas ?! T’es sûr d’avoir 24h dans tes journées ? Mazel Tov !
