I was on yesterday’s MaCasbah.net TV show, where Saïd Oujibou interviewed me on the authenticity of Scriptures.

We addressed such questions as the birth of the Bible, the selection of the books that compose it, or the presence of variant readings in the earliest biblical manuscripts. Here is the full interview, which starts at 07:24:

A journalist from “The Republic of the Center” regional newspaper attended my conference in Orleans last Sunday, with an audience of 300.

He wrote a paper in the February 7, 2012 issue, mentioning a new archaeological discovery whose importance I highlighted during the conference:

Due to the success of the “Bible Facing Archaeology” conference in Orleans, a new conference is in order. The large hall will welcome both those who could not come in the first time, and those who want to continue the adventure!

I will speak about the most important archaeological discovery of the 20th century: Qumran. What do these mysterious scrolls contain? Who wrote them? Why weren’t they immediately available to the public? What do they reveal on the birth of the Bible and Christianity?

Siècles après siècles, les traditions du judaïsme ancien et du christianisme naissant sont partagées et enrichies.
